Sharks Cove - Oahu Hawaii
I did not know until right now that this place was called Sharks Cove. If so, I probably would not have been snorkeling here in the first place. Lol But I'm glad I didn't know because that was some of the best snorkeling I have done in my entire life. At one point my brother and I found 2 sea turtles. They were so friendly and they began to follow and swim beside each of us. It was one of the most amazing experience I had, I feel like I connected with them on a different level. Just be careful because there is a $10,000 dollar fine if you touch them! Haha But I definitely recommend you check out this spot out for yourself! Experienced snorkelers only
"Sharks Cove has been rated by Scuba Diving Magazine as one of the "Top Twelve Shore Dives in the World". Located on Oahu's world famous North Shore, this small rocky bay forms part of Pupukea Beach Park and boasts blue water and an impressive amount of sea life. The bottom is made up of large smooth boulders and coral heads forming small caves and ledges for marine life to hide. The walls of the surrounding cliffs provide calmer water attracting schooling surface fish." - http://www.hawaiisnorkelingguide.com/sharks_cove.html
